The Marvin H. Jones Nature Center is not only an educational tribute to a great civic leader and conservationist, it is also an investment in our children's future. Funded by family and friends of the late Troup County Commissioner and Two Rivers' co-founder, the facility is located on a seven-acre wooded parcel at Troup County Comprehensive High and offers tremendous opportunities to stimulate an outdoor conscience and instill an environmental ethic that motivates students in all fields of study. Contributions in excess of $150,000 provided for the construction of a group pavilion, an arboretum, a wetlands boardwalk, and establishment of four distinct nature trails. The center is open free of charge to area schools and civic groups by calling (706) 812-7957
