Improves the quality
of life and enhances economic Landscaping not only adds beauty to our parks, towns and communities, oftentimes it also spurs economic development. Downtown revitalization projects which incorporate streetscape and other landscape design techniques are prime examples. The Two Rivers Council, along with Georgia's ten other Resource Conservation and Development Councils entered into a financial arrangement with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service to initiate this program. The service, available to Two Rivers member counties and member conservation districts, offers general design and planning assistance for downtown revitalizations, streetscape, outdoor classrooms, town parks and other recreational facilities. |
